摘要：A process for preparing a D-threo compound of the formula wherein R, and R1have the meanings shown in the description, via protection of both the secondaryhydroxy and the amino group of a corresponding D-threo 1-(phenyl)-2-amino-1,3-propanediol, fluorination of the protected compound and treatment of the thusobtained compound to afford a D-threo compound of the formula (II).
