摘要：An apparatus for and a method of assembling a vehicle body is disclosed, whichuses a thermosetting adhesive to join panels of a vehicle body main part. The adhesive is
heated or set by a laser beam conducted through a workpiece supporting jig whosegauge portion includes a plurality of elongate plates or through the same whose gaugeportion is not deformable. On the other hand, the adhesive can also be heated or set by ahot air blowed by industrial dryers.
