摘要：A stereotactic device for use with an image, which permits an imaging scan to betaken with reference to a personal coordinate system (PCS) that is independent of amachine coordinate system (MCS). Methods using the device to obtain imaging scans (28)are described such that the imaging scans are superimposing even if taken at differenttime periods using the same or a different image. The device comprises a frame (10) thatcan be reproducibly positioned on a subject, and which is equipped with non-invasiveaffixing means (12, 14) and localizing means (16A, 16B, 18A, 18B, 20A, 20B) that providethe PCS. The device and method steps are particularly well suited for routine initial orfollow-up examinations, pre-surgical planning and post-surgical evaluation.
